Aquatics - Broadwater Athletic Club and Hot Springs

Water Aerobics | Lap Pool | Rec Pool | Swim Lessons | Centennial Waterslide
AquaLogix | Lifeguard Swim Hours

Water Aerobics - Directed by Beth Barry

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:00 a.m. and Monday and Wednesday 5:30 p.m. Classes are held year- round in the Hot Springs heated Lap Pool. The Lap Pool averages 89 degrees. The Pool is protected from the wind by high walls. Water Aerobics is an excellent form of exercise for toning and the buoyancy of the water helps protect joints such as knees, hips and backs from injury.

Lap Pool

  • No Lifeguard on duty.
  • The Lap Pool is available for lap swimming from open to one-half-hour before closing every day. The only times the Lap Pool is not available for lap swimming is during Water Aerobics.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Lap Pool or a member of the Teen Fitness Program.

Classes are the Westside Club in the Lap Pool. 9:15 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays. AquaLogix has created a revolution in water-based training to rival the land-based "aerobics" phenomenon of the 1980s. Never before has the water shown such promise in changing the way people feel, exercise, train, and rehabilitate - all while having fun. Witness the Fitness Revolution

The Revolution revolves around the patented design and functionality of the AquaGrip technology. No other piece of fitness equipment accomplishes so much in such an efficient, balanced and exciting way.

Recreation (Rec) Pool

  • The Rec Pool is available for recreational or lap swimming from open to one-half- hour before closing every day. Children 15 years and younger may not swim in the pool without a lifeguard on duty or adult supervision.

  • Children 14 & 15 years old who are members of the Teen Fitness Program do not require supervision.

  • Children must be checked in with the lifeguard if parents are not present.

  • All pools will close during electrical storms.

Winter Lifeguard Hours:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
