Adventure Zone Summer Hours
Beginning Saturday, June 7th.

Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

After 1:00 p.m. on weekdays, children need to be directly supervised by parents to be in the Adventure Zone, or parents can make a reservation for their child in the Nursery. In most instances, older children supervised by the Nursery staff can still play in the Adventure Zone.

On days the Waterslide has to be closed due to poor weather, we will make every effort to make the Adventure Zone available to kids.

2003 Summer Swim Lessons

Summer swim lessons have started! There are four more sessions with morning and evening classes available. All lessons are scheduled at the BAC and payment is required at the time of sign-up. As always, we will have WSI certified swim instructors teaching everything from Parent/Tot and preschool classes through Level 7 of the Red Cross Class Progression. Instructor to Student ratio is 1:5. Don’t wait too long to sign up, classes fill quickly!

Camp Broadwater

Starts June 16th

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: 1:00 – 2:30 Waterslide
2:30 – 5:30 Fitness activities and games
FREE to members!
Non-members pay $9.00 for the day.

Camp Broadwater is a summer program that incorporates the fun of the Waterslide and natural hot springs pools with a children’s fitness program designed to teach and shape the lives of our younger members.

Members ages 8 to 13 need to pre-register at the Broadwater front desk. Once your child is registered, they are registered for the whole summer. Your child can attend the days that work for your schedule.

Children need to arrive at the Broadwater front desk between 1:00 and 2:30. Upon arrival the children will be checked into the club and given a band to verify they are a part of Camp Broadwater. Once the children have received their band, they will go into the Centennial Waterslide where they will be supervised by Broadwater’s certified lifeguards.

Promptly at 2:30 the activities director will make an announcement to all of the campers that it is time to change clothes and get ready for the day’s fitness activities and games. Children should come prepared to workout with appropriate shoes and clothes. Please provide a beverage for your child. There are snacks available for purchase at the Waterslide shack. Feel free to send snacks with your child. A daily activity will be planned. Some of the activities will include:

Ø The Rock (Climbing Wall)
Ø Weight Lifting
Ø Water Balloon Games
Ø Yoga
Ø Obstacle Courses
Ø Wacky Olympics
Ø And Much More…

Once Camp Broadwater is over for the day, children will need to be picked up at 5:30 at the Adventure Zone Party Room. Please pick up your child on time, late charges may apply.

St. Jude’s Penny Power Campaign

Thanks to our wonderful members, we were able to collect 92,374 pennies for the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital!

LFC: $72.52
BAC: $144.30
DAC: $245.05
Total Collected: $461.87

The owner, Jim Williams agreed to match the donations collected by the highest earning Club, but instead, has matched the total collected to make the amount donated to St. Jude’s $923.74!!! This made the Broadwater the largest contributor in the Helena Area! Way to go Broadwater Members and Staff! I understand that Barbara Schaeffer at the DAC was instrumental in collecting money at that Club. Great job!

We want to thank the following businesses for donating additional prizes to make our March Madness basketball game a big success for the St. Jude’s Hospital:
Emiliano’s, Bert & Ernie’s, Wok –N- Roll, The Rock at the Broadwater, Superior Sharpening & Machine Works, and the Broadwater Athletic Club!
