What's New at Broadwater Athletic Club and Hot Springs

January 21, 2012

January 23, 2012

MEMO TO EAST SIDE MEMBERS:

It is my painful duty to announce the impending closing of this facility and the consolidation of its classes, instructors, trainers and equipment with the recently remodeled Broadwater Athletic Club & Hot Springs on the west side.

We will continue to operate a full schedule of classes here, at the east side, through Friday, February 3, 2012. On Monday, February 6, most of your classes will resume at the west side club; a new schedule of group fitness offerings will be published soon.

Your group fitness leaders, Nanette, the entire staff at the west side and Carol and I fervently hope and urge you to continue your membership and join us at the west side.

In addition to your favorite instructors the west side offers the luxury of natural hot springs pools and spas, steam rooms in each locker room, a coed Jacuzzi (recently rebuilt and refinished) and a terrific massage therapist.

In addition to your usual fitness activities, you can also play WallyBall, handball, racquetball or ping pong in our courts. You will also find a much larger assortment of free weights, an indoor running track and a first floor circuit and cardio room for those who don’t wish to tackle the stairs.  The group cycling classes will be held in Studio Two overlooking the lap pool and with views of the mountains and forest.

The nursery can accommodate many more children and the Adventure Zone provides 3000 square feet of safe, indoor play for older children.
